IAI hydraulically dredged about 18,000 cubic yards of industrial process biosolids from two wastewater treatment lagoons, utilizing a cable-driven 8 inch diameter auger dredge. The dredged sludge was conditioned with flocculating chemicals and dewatered in about 2,400 lineal feet of 75 foot circumference geotextile tubes. The geotextile tubes were stacked in two layers over a lined dewatering pad. Weep water from the geotextile tubes was collected and pumped back into the wastewater lagoons.
